KCA Mysuru Hosts Motivational Talk for Rural SSLC Students

The Konkani Christian Association Mysuru recently hosted an uplifting motivational talk for SSLC students from rural government schools across the taluk on February 17 at Konkan Bhavan in Vijayanagar second stage Mysuru. The program opened at 10:30 am with a soul stirring prayer song performed by students from Karnataka Public School M G Koppal. Joyce Sequeira the secretary of the Association warmly welcomed the dignitaries on stage. The event was officially inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by chief guests including Uday Kumar D the DDPI for School Education in Mysuru District Prakash M the Block Education Officer for Mysuru Rural Father Santhosh John the parish priest of Holy Family Church Hinkal and Dr Shambhulinga B Pavate a yoga trainer and counselor from Mysuru.
Addressing the gathering Uday Kumar D commended the Association for its dedicated social service and congratulated the leadership team for supporting government school students from M G Koppal Hinkal Hootagalli and Yelwal. With only 29 days remaining before exams he urged students to prepare a clear study timetable and manage their time wisely. He encouraged them to stand tall stay resilient and take full ownership of their future to achieve true success. The dignitaries were then honored by the Association for their presence and support.
Prakash M highlighted the various government schemes and facilities available to students encouraging them to make full use of these resources. He motivated the young minds to cultivate the right attitude and approach emphasizing that determination can overcome any obstacle. He closed his address by wishing everyone the very best for their upcoming examinations.
Adding spiritual depth to the occasion Sri Yukteshananda Swamiji correspondent of Ramakrishna Vidyashala Yadavagiri praised the Association for its selfless commitment to education. He urged students to remain joyful courageous and confident while taking full responsibility for their choices. To inspire them he shared the captivating story of Tenzing Norgay scaling Mount Everest alongside tales of other legendary figures. Following this Dr Shambhulinga B Pavate offered valuable wellness tips reminding students to maintain physical health and a calm positive mindset during exam preparation.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Stany Lobo vice president of the Association while fellow vice president Meena Dias compered the program smoothly. The Association provided lunch and light refreshments for all attendees and gifted examination writing pads and pens to 130 students. The gathering was attended by office bearers committee members education coordinators block resource persons cluster heads and eight school teachers. The memorable morning came to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.
